Description: We are located on the North Shore of Lake Almanor, two miles east of Chester, California, right off Highway 36. We have over one mile of shoreline on the lake and many mature trees. The park has been carefully designed to complement the natural beauty of the mountain and forest setting. Most of our RV and tent sites are on the lakeside or have a spectacular view of the lake. We also have guest houses available for rent that combine rustic appeal with all the modern amenities

South Directions :
From the Bay Area: Take I-5 toward Sacramento Take CA-99 north In Chico, take the CA-32 exit east toward Chester Turn right onto CA-36 and drive through Chester North Shore Campground is 2 miles east of Chester on HWY 36. Driving time from Sacramento is approximately 4 hours.
East Directions :
From Reno: Take US-395 North toward Susanville Drive through Susanville on CA-36. North Shore Campground is off of HWY 36, approximately 32 miles from Susanville. (If you get to Chester, you have gone 2 miles too far.) Driving time from Reno is approximately 2 1/2 hours.
