Park your RV along the ocean or in a pull-through site. Pitch your tent in a shady spot or camp under a canopy of stars. From this ocean front campground you can kayak right frrom the beach, hike the nature trails, eat Maine lobster on the shore, fish from the beach, explore tidal pools and join the kids in a basketball game on the playground.
Want solitude? We'll direct our campers to 900 uninhabited acres on an easily accessible island, only 5 minutes away, for day use exploration including hiking, boating and biking. At Searsport Shores Camping Resort, the fishing (and shopping) is good, the people are friendly, the campfires are crackling and the ocean is inviting.

Directions: Take Interstate 95 north to Augusta. Connect to Route 3 (Rt. 202) east to Belfast. From the junction of Route 1 and Route 3 in Belfast travel north on Route 1 for 5 miles. We are on the right, one mile beyond Moose Point State Park.
Look for the big sign and we'll be here to welcome you.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least fourteen days prior to the scheduled arrival date will be refunded, less a one-night penalty. Cancellations made fewer than fourteen days in advance are non-refundable but may be re-scheduled when possible. SINGLE NIGHT RESERVATIONS ARE TOTALLY NON-REFUNDABLE. We are sorry, but we are not able to offer refunds in the event of illness, emergency, inclement weather or other circumstances that are beyond our control.

Reservations are suggested and may be made using Mastercard, Visa, Discover cards or personal checks. A deposit is required to reserve a site. If a check is used, the site will not be secured until the deposit has been received. For stays of 1 week or more a deposit of $100 is required. For stays over holiday weekends, all site fees must be paid at the time of reservation and are non-refundable. For all other stays, a deposit of 50% of site fees is required. The balance of site fees is due upon registration. During July and August, there is a 7-night minimum on gold RV site reservations and a 5-night minimum on gold tent sites; otherwise a 3-night minimum applies on gold sites during the off-peak season.
Pet Policy: Pets are welcome provided: One pet per site unless prior arrangements have been made. You clean up after your animal. They are leashed at all times and are never left unattended. They do not bark. Guests may not bring pets into the resort.
Campground Rules: Children: Adults are responsible for children’s actions, safety and conduct.
All children under 10 must be supervised by an adult on the playground and in the bathhouse at all times.
Children are not permitted on the beach without adult supervision.
Clothes Lines are permitted if attached entirely to your RV or Tent and do not interfere with the enjoyment of other guests. Dryers are provided in the laundry area
Firewood-- may be purchased at camp store. Cutting or any other damage towards trees or shrubbery is strictly prohibited. Foraging for wood on the beach or wooded area is not allowed. Fires are permitted in fireplaces only. Fires must be attended at all times and extinguished upon retiring.
Grills are available at front desk.
Guests-- We reserve the right to limit the number of guests at any site. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests .
All guests must register at the office before entering the park and must pay a $5.00 per person day use fee. Ignoring this rule will cost you $25.00 and your guests will be asked to leave the premises immediately. If your guests are over 70, please register them with the office and we will happily waive the guest fee.
Guests must park in visitor parking unless other arrangements are made in advance.
Vehicles-- one vehicle per site (wilderness camping area restricted to designated parking lot). ATV's, dirt bikes, and gas powered carts are not allowed. Parking in roads, unoccupied sites or on shorefront is prohibited. Additional parking is available. Car/RV washing is prohibited.
We hope you understand that these rules have been established to insure a quality camping experience for everyone. Any violation of these rules will result in prompt dismissal and forfeiture of all fees.
