Put some time aside to spend at Cold Bowling Spring while you're here at Blackburn's Camp Ground. If you want to get up a bit higher try climbing Ricker Hill. Why not climb nearby Ossipee Hill. Big Ledge is an interesting place to visit while at Blackburn's Camp Ground. Lakes? Sure, Little Ossipee Pond is right next door. Great hiking is available along the Ossipee Hill Trail. Bucklin Rock is a good place to spend some time. Ledgemere Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Great Falls is always fun to check out. While staying at Blackburn's Camp Ground you could always explore Goulds Rocks. If you're into cool geologic features try Fryes Leap. Going up to the top of Chadbournes Ridge is great fun any day. A visit to Alfred Historic District rejuvenates the soul. There are swamps here too, The Heath is not far away. Carll Branch is a pretty stream that is worth checking out. Take some time to visit Massabesic Experimental Forest while you're here. Davis Spring is a great local attraction.
