Panguitch KOA Campground    [Write a Review] [Save] [Upgrade Listing]

Description: Panguitch is the Paiute word for “big fish,” and plenty of lunker trout prowl Panguitch Lake 16 miles south of this high desert campground in the state’s southwest corner. Natural wonders abound in this region, including Bryce Canyon and Zion national parks, and a few hours south, the north rim of the Grand Canyon. To the east, the Kodachrome Basin State Park earned its name from the photogenic rock spires and formations that seem to glow at sunrise and sunset. The Panguitch KOA puts you close to them all. ATV, hiking and bike trails fan out from near the campground. Cool off in the pool, play horseshoes or volleyball and catch up on e-mail outdoors thanks to KOA’s Wi-Fi connection. Campsites are within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops of downtown Panguitch. Panguitch KOA wins KOA Presidents Award for 2003! Continuing their strong performance over the past few years, Panguitch KOA has again demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and clean facilities at a fair price. Since 1996, no other KOA in the surrounding area has had such a strong run of awards. Come see for yourself the great facilities and helpful staff at the Panguitch KOA near Bryce Canyon National Park. We offer easy access for all size RV's, as well as 12 Kamping Kabins, and more. Grass and trees throughout the campground make this ideal base camp for all the area attractions. You will also enjoy pleasant days and cool nights at 6700' elevation. We are just within minutes of Bryce Canyon and shuttle service. Here you can find all the various fuels needed for your vehicle and you. We have several fine relaxed restraunts in town as well as a few fast food places. Gift stores and an outstanding wildlife museum are very close by. This is the ideal location for your base kamp at the friendly Gold rated KOA near Bryce Canyon and Zion National parks, as well as several other recreation areas. We look forward to saying hello to you soon! Stay once and you'll be back again!
