Description: Thousand Lakes RV Park is located just 6 miles west of Capitol Reef National Park and one mile west of Torrey on Highway 24. This pretty, well-maintained, modern campground has nice views of the surrounding red rock and is a convenient base from which to explore this beautiful area of Utah. Thousand Lakes is a spacious 22 acre park with shade trees, lots of grass, Clean Restrooms, Hot Showers, Laundry, Dump Station, Picnic Tables, Barbecues, Fire-Rings, Pavillion, Horseshoe Courts, Playground, Heated Swimming Pool, Great TV Reception, Fresh Homemade Muffins and Coffee in the morning. Our Log Cabins are 14 feet x 14 feet (4.25 meters x 4.25 meters), constructed of solid logs with an open beam ceiling. They are roomy and bright with 2 full size beds. Some are available with an additional bunk bed. Cabins are furnished with table, chairs, power outlets and are heated. Outside, guests have the use of a table and chairs on the patio, in addition to a picnic table and a fire pit in front. Restrooms, Showers, Swimming Pool and Laundry are close by.
