Seven Maine cabins are set on the edge of a clear, glacial formed, spring-fed pond. We accommodate up to 25 guests for Maine fly fishing, family, outdoor adventure, nature and eco-tourism vacations. Our traditional north woods waterfront cabins are tastefully appointed in vintage decor. Each Cabin Rental in Maine is spaciously scattered among the trees and lawn of the waterfront for all to enjoy the privacy and remoteness of our location. Quietly isolated a short distance from our Rental Cabin in Maine is ten waterfront campsites each along the shore of the pond. Woods and waters in all directions provide a variety of Activities for a relaxing and refreshing vacation in Maine's north woods. Frost Pond is located thirty-five miles from the town of Millinocket, in the beautiful area of Mount Katahdin and the West Branch of the Penobscot River, three miles in-across Ripogenus Dam. Known as the Katahdin Forest Project, this is a sustainably harvested working forest under the protection of a conservation easement with The Nature Conservancy and Katahdin Timberlands, LLC.
