Directions: From Points South
Take I-95 north to Patten-Sherman Exit 264 (Formerly 58). Rt. 11 north to Patten, then Rt.159 west (Shin Pond Rd.). 10 Miles to Shin Pond Village.
From Points North
Take I-95 south to Exit 276 (Formerly 59) (Island Falls). Rt. 159 west 10 miles to Patten then to Shin Pond.
By Snowmobile
From the south-connect with ITS 85 at Millinocket north to Bowlin Pond then on to Shin Pond.
From the north ITS 85 at Ashland South to Oxbow then to Shin Pond Village. Connecting trails from Baxter State Park and Patten.
