Description: A low key family oriented campground with spacious, private sites. Located within a short drive of all the scenic wonders including Acadia National Park. Camping is such a fun thing to do and Masthead Family Campground is a great place to do that. Masthead Family Campground is a good place to camp in Maine, with so many outdoors activities around Masthead Family Campground nobody could get bored. Many people like this campground. Lots of people come to camp at Masthead Family Campground, just like most outdoors people you'll probably like Masthead Family Campground as well. Maine has so much to offer nature lovers. Climbing up to the top of Ersking is great exercise. An excursion to Odom Ledge is always fun. Sears Island Ledge is an interesting place to visit while at Masthead Family Campground. Eustis Mountain is a great place to go up on if you want more of a bird's eye perspective on everything here around Masthead Family Campground. Don't leave Masthead Family Campground without first checking out Swazey Ledge. Why not climb nearby Mount Tuck. It's always nice to visit Goose Falls. Places like Fort Knox State Historic Site are great to visit. A cool spot to check out is Dice Head. Drop by Silver Lake Dam while you're here. Up on the top of McCloud Mountain you'll get a great view. Why not go to Collins Cove also while you're here. A visit to nearby Luce Cove is very relaxing. Going up to the top of Mount Olive is great fun any day. Taking a little trip to nearby Harriman Cove is a great idea. If you're into cool geologic features try Smith Ledge. A visit to Bagaduce Falls will fill your soul with good feelings. Lawrence Cove is very close and always nice to visit. If you want to see some interesting stuff take a look at The Bluffs. Ulmer Brook is a stream that you may bump into while here. Take a look at nearby Stowers Meadows. You could also go to Silver Lake while you're here, it's not far at all
