Description: We’d like you to know a little something about us. The Gray Homestead is located on Southport Island just south of Boothbay Harbor. A short bridge, with beautiful scenery, connects the two towns. It takes about 8 minutes to drive from Southport to Boothbay Harbor where there are colorful parades, Windjammers, local contests, whale watching, sailboat cruises, deep sea fishing trips, restaurants, museums ,shops, mini-golf, & much more. The town is truly beautiful!!
The Gray Homestead Campground offers beautiful scenery, our own small beach, swimming, ocean kayaking (with safe & stable Old Town Loons), a point & a pier to enjoy!! Tent & RV sites are available in grassy, wooded, Oceanside, or Oceanview areas.
Also, Steve Gray, LOBSTERS for our campground, cottages, & apartments only!! Order fresh live or cooked daily by 4:00 p.m.
The Gray Homestead also has 3 beautifully decorated cottages (1) in the woods & (2) overlooking the ocean. They’re lovely!! Also, in our large 1820 house are (3) beautiful apartments with porch or deck & spectacular views of lawn & Ocean! Watch the majestic WINDJAMMERS SAIL RIGHT BY OUR CAMP & the constant sailboat races & lobsterman getting their catch. IT’S TRULY PEACEFUL &

Directions: From Massachusetts, Connecticut and other points south:
Interstate 95 north to Maine and the Maine turnpike; pass Portland, take NEW exit 52 (Falmouth Spur) to Route 295, then take NEW Exit 28 (Route 1 to Coastal Area, Brunswick, Bath). Follow Route 1 through Bath and Wiscasset to Route 27 South (on right). Follow Route 27 to Boothbay Harbor (approximately 10 minutes). Stay on Route 27 South through Boothbay Harbor to Southport (again about 10 minutes). Cross the first bridge, immediately turn left onto Route 238 and cross the second bridge. We are approximately 2 miles up on the left.
Pet Policy: Limit of two well-behaved pets per site, to be kept on a leash at all times. You must clean up after your pets. Please do not leave your pets alone at the site at any time.
Campground Rules: All prices are based on two adults, two children and one auto per site.
# In season we rent cottages and apartments weekly (Saturday to Saturday). Off-season we may rent for a minimum of 3 nights.
# A security deposit is required on all cottages and apartments.
# Cottages and apartments are non-smoking. (Smoking outside is fine.)
# No pets allowed in cottages and apartments.
# All rate are subject to Maine 7% lodging tax.
# 50% deposit required (non-refundable)
