Description: Trade Winds RV Resort is a family owned active adult retirement community located in the sunny Rio Grande Valley. Our Resort has a full time activities director and the most amenities per resident of any Resort in the area. We have two heated salt water swimming pools and spas, 12 shuffleboard courts, a full wood working shop, two pool halls, quilting and sewing rooms, craft rooms, library, computer rooms and our brand new exercise room. We have a huge 20,000 SF recreation/dance hall with floating wood dance floor on the east side of the Resort and another 10,000 SF recreation hall on the west end. Our activities are non-stop and included weekly dances to live bands, live entertainment, tours, hay rides, a full dance program, bingo and many card games.
Our staff is dedicated to making your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. We have many outstanding facilities and a wide array of planned activities. We need only your involvement to create an atmosphere of excitement and fun.

Other Pricing Info: Our rates are all-inclusive except for electricity. Thus, water, sewer, trash, wifi and free phone calls. We do not charge resort or administrative fees. A 3% discount for full payment at season's end for the following season
Directions: Going West on Exp. 83, turn right (N) on Shary Rd about 1 mile until you reach Bus 83, turn Left (W); continue 1 mile park located on Right (N) side of Bus 83. We are located
adjacent to our sister Resort, Mission Bell RV Resort.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund less a $50 administrative fee until October 1st for any reason and thereafter until December 1st with a doctors' certification for death or hospitalization. No refunds after arrival.
Pet Policy: We are a pet friendly resort and allow one large dog or two smaller dogs and or cats. Must be leashed at all times and cannot be left unattended outdoors. Dog walking area available. Owners must pick up after their pets and carry a "pooper-scooper" and bags as a courtesy to other guests. No breeding allowed on the premises.
