Description: Set in a breathtaking wooded area, Missouri's Huzzah Valley is nestled at the junction of the pristine Huzzah River and Dry Creek amongst the sycamores, birch and beautiful dogwoods.
Water quality in the Huzzah is generally considered very good to excellent. At the Huzzah Valley Resort, Dry Creek flows into the Huzzah, adding between 750,000 to 1,000,000 gallons of sparkling pure spring water each day. The Huzzah is a narrow, very scenic, usually slow moving small river. It provides excellent habitat for smallmouth bass, goggle eye, and various species of perch and blue gill.
The resort is the perfect place for adventure or just a quiet retreat. Park your RV, pitch your tent or rent a comfortable cabin or house in this riverside paradise! Whether it's swimming, a canoe, raft, kayak or tube float for the day, there's plenty of river fun for everyone.
Enjoy volleyball, scenic hiking trails or just let the kids have a ball at the playground.
RV groups are welcome. Huzzah Valley has four rental pavilions. These gathering spots include BBQ pits, picnic tables, electricity and running water.
Keep your site well stocked with a trip through the Country Store. In addition to picking up the necessities, you can preserve your happy camping memories with Huzzah Valley souvenirs. You'll appreciate the clean and comfortable restrooms and showerhouse. If there's anything you need, just ask the friendly Huzzah Valley staff!"

Directions: From St. Louis
Take Highway 44 West to the Cuba exit, Exit # 208. Make a left off of the Cuba Exit onto Hwy 19 and go South to Steelville. At the 3 way stop sign in Steelville, go straight onto Hwy 8. Go East on Hwy 8 10 miles to the Big Red Barn.
From Jefferson City
Take Highway 63 South to Vichy. Go East on Hwy 68 to St. James. In St. James take Hwy 8 East to Steelville. At the 3 way stop sign go straight you will still be traveling on Hwy 8 East for 10 miles to our Big Red Barn.
From Springfield, MO
Take Highway 44 East to the Cuba exit, Exit # 208. Make a right off of the Cuba Exit onto Hwy 19 and go South to Steelville. At the flashing light in Steelville, go straight onto Hwy 8. Go East on Hwy 8 10 miles to the Big Red Barn.
From Cape Girardeau
Take Highway 55 North to Highway 72. Turn Left onto Highway 72 and go Northwest to Fredericktown. From Fredericktown take Highway 67 north to Park Hills. At Park Hills turn left onto Highway 8 and go west. It is about 20 miles to Potosi, from Potosi, continue on Highway 8 for about another 26 miles, you will see our Big Red Barn on the left."
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made ten (10) full days in advance of your arrival. If you cancel ten (10) full days in advance, your deposit will be refunded, minus a $10 service charge. Less than ten days and the entire deposit is forfeited.
Reservation Information: Reservations do require a deposit, and you will be told the amount of the deposit required. If the deposit is not received within 10 days, the reservation will be cancelled.
Pet Policy: Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash and are "people friendly".
