Description: Located along beautiful Lake Cowan, Beechwood Acres is a heavily wooded campground with 95 wooded campsites. Each site has water and electric hook up along with a picnic table and fire ring. For those evening or day activities that you or your group may have planned, we have a lighted Pavilion equipped with a group grill available for your use. For those that don't have camping equipment, we have new rental cabins available and a deluxe cottage with hot tub. We also have many planned events and activities throughout the season. New heated pool, game room adn train rides for the kids.
Directions: From Cincinnati: Take 71 North to Exit 36, Wilmington Rd. Turn right onto Wilmington Rd. Travel approximately 3.5 miles and turn right on Clarksville Rd. Go 1.5 miles to STOP sign. Cross over SR 22. You are now on Spring Hill Rd, but nothing tells you that. Go 2.8 miles to STOP sign. Turn left onto SR 350 (Clarksville). Go through traffic light and travel approximately 5 miles (cross over SR 730). Turn left on Yankee Rd (first left). Turn right into second entrance.
From Columbus: Take I-71 south to Exit 50 (US 68 - Wilmington.) Turn left onto US 68 South and follow it through Wilmington (about 7 miles). Turn right onto SR 350. Turn right at Yankee Road. Beechwood Acres is on the right.
From North Dayton: Take I-75 South to 35 East towards Xenia. Take Washington Ct. House Exit (35 East) and continue on 35 for approximately five miles. Take Wilmington Exit (US 68). Turn right (south) and follow US 68 through Wilmington. Approximately 7 miles past Wilmington, turn right onto SR 350. Take the second road to the right, Yankee Road. Beechwood Acres is on the right.
From South Dayton: Take SR 73 east past Caesar Creek (approximately 10 miles). Turn right onto Nelson Ave (first intersection with light as you enter Wilmington). Continue on Nelson until it dead ends and take a right onto SR 730. Travel approximately 7 miles and turn left onto SR 350. Take the 1st road to the left, Yankee Rd. Beechwood Acres is on the second entrance on right."
