Description: Peppermint Park Camping Resort is located in the towns of Plainfield and Ashfield, Massachusetts. Our friendly hillside community was a major producer of peppermint oil in the early 1800's. Maple sugaring was, and still remains, a very important element in the character of our region. Nestled in the Berkshire's, we will lure you back with our cool breezes and scenic views. The park spans 80 acres, 60 wooded and 20 grassy, for camping and activities. There are 200 campsites available which are mostly wooded and well spaced. The campground features an in-ground pool, hot tub, playground, lodge, camp store, snack bar, pub & lounge with a dance floor, video games, pool table, and a coin-op laundry. See our activity list for each weekend filled with planned activities. The Camp Store stocks regular convenience items such as milk, toiletries, laundry items, RV supplies, snacks, candy, soda, and groceries. The Snack Bar and Pub are open weekends and serve french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, poppers, chicken tenders, hotdogs, hamburgers, ice cream and beverages. Peppermint Park welcomes pets that are kept on a leash and cleaned up after. A copy of a current Rabies Certificate must be provided upon check-in and left on file at the office. Peppermint Park Camping Resort provides an environment where families can experience hassle-free camping in a relaxing, comfortable and clean atmosphere. Planned activities are available along with hiking, biking, swimming, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, walking and playing at the playground. Summer and winter seasonal sites provide for 4 seasons of fun.
