Directions:
We are located approximately 2 miles north of Winsted center.
A short distance east of Route 8, south of Route 20 and north of Route 44.
From Winsted Center:
- Continue north on Route 8.
- Right onto Wallens St.
- Left onto Wallens Hill Road
- Continue straight onto Wallens Hill 3
- Right onto Old North Road
Cancellation Policy:
Deposit will be forfeited in event of cancellation without 7 day written notice, no shows, late arrivals or early departures due to inclement weather or personal reasons.
Reservation Information:
* A 50% deposit is required at time of reservation. Balance due upon arrival.
* Holiday Weekends: A 100% deposit is required to guarantee a site.
* Payment is due 48 hours after making your reservation.
* Cancellation of Reservation: A $10.00 service charge will be deducted from the deposit, provided 7 days advance written notice is received prior to arrival date.
* Late cancellation or no shows will forfeit deposits.
* Rates are subject to change
Pet Policy:
* Pets are allowed on a leash. A proof of rabies certificate must be provided to the office.
* No pets are allowed in cabins.
* No pets are allowed to roam.
* Management reserves the right in its sole discretion to have any pet removed from the campground.
* Pets are not allowed in the buildings or on the pavilion. Pets may not be left at your campsite unattended.
* You Must Clean Up After Your Pet.
* Pets must be walked in the area marked DOG WALK just past the visitor parking area.
Campground Rules:
The rules of this campground have been designed for your safety and comfort, as well as to comply with Connecticut State Laws. PLEASE READ AND OBEY all rules and posted signs.
Camp Rules
* The speed limit in the campground is 5 MPH.
* Two cars are allowed on a campsite. Mopeds and ATVs are not allowed.
* Motorcycles may be used only to enter, and exit campground.
* No washing cars or RVs allowed without permission from the manager.
* Bicycle riders must obey the 5mph rule. Children 12 years of age and under must wear a helmet.
* Bicycles are not allowed after dark. Bicycles must be parked in the bike rack or at campsite when not in use.
* No trespassing on other peoples' campsites.
* No cutting trees in the campground.
* Picnic tables must remain on the site they are assigned to.
* Sites must be clean and left clean upon departure.
* All rubbish must be disposed of in receptacle provided upon exiting.
* Only rubbish is allowed at receptacles. No propane tanks, grills etc.
* All visitors must register at the office.
* All children under 5 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
* Children 8 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult in the bathrooms and showers.
* No smoking allowed in cabins.
* No Rottweilers, Pit bulls, Chows, guard dogs or other aggressive dogs allowed.
* All children 14 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area at all times
* All pool rules must be followed.
* Please observe Quiet Hours from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
