We are an affordable family oriented campground nestled in Connecticut's quiet corner on the Rhode Island Border. Only one hour from Providence, Hartford or Worcester.
Sterling park was purchased by the Henry family in 2002. The Henry's are avid campers and as so run the campground from the perspective of being a camper. We don't run things like most campgrounds we feel we do things better. Sterling Park Campground sits on approximately 60 acres 50 of which can and is in the process of being used for expansion The existing campground 10 acres accommodates 160 campsites with additional sites being added as they are completed. We have wooded, open and grassy sites something for everyone. Come by and visit if you like what you see camp for a night, weekend, vacation or for the season stay awhile and watch us grow or stay and grow with us.

Directions: Take Exit 89 off Connecticut Turnpike (395) North or South. Take left at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 14 East. At the stop sign take a left (Rt 14 east). Approximately 6 miles from the highway turn left onto Gibson Hill Rd (across from Oneco Commons. Sterling Park Campground is located 1 mile up on the left side. We are 6 miles from Rt 395 and 1/2 mile from the Connecticut - Rhode Island State Line.
Cancellation Policy: Regular weekends 50% deposit at the time of reservation. Balance due at check in.
7 day notice and a $25.00 fee charged. No refund for inclement weather or if cancellation is not received on time
Holiday weekends are to be paid in full at the time of your reservation.
Written notice must be received 14 days prior to the holiday weekend for a cancellation of your reservation.. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged. No refund will be issued if cancellation is not received on time.
Pet Policy: Pets are welcome if kept on a leash, picked up after and under supervision
Visitor Fees - Day Visitor: Adult $4.00 Child $2.00 six and under free.
Overnight Visitor: Adult $6.00 Child $3.00 six and under free.
