Description: New Discovery State Park is part of 28,000-acre Groton State Forest. New Discovery State Park includes 46 tent/trailer sites and 15 lean-tos in the developed campground. This is one of only two state parks that allow horse camping. Trailer your horse and experience the Montpelier/Wells River Railroad multiple use trail. Call ahead for information. Also, experience remote camping on Osmore Pond only reachable by foot or boat. You can get a canoe and remote lean-to site on Osmore Pond for up to 4 people for only $25/night.
