Description: From I-89 take Randolph exit 4, west on Rte 66 for 2.5 miles, then Rte 12A for 2.5 miles on left. Only minutes off the highway, yet a quiet secluded haven, Abel Mountain Campground is nestled along the third branch of the White River and has 270 acres of trails. Featuring 93 spacious grassy sites (many shaded)! 78 full hook-ups and 15 water/electric only, many with new electric 20/30/50 amp and new water lines. 37 riverbank sites, 15 pull-through, any size RV, all with picnic table and large fire ring. RVers and tenters alike enjoy a serene and friendly atmosphere surrounded by the relaxing sounds of the river, the wind in the large shade trees, songs of local birds, and a crackling fire! Pool, large open pavillion, 2 playgrounds, basketball, horseshoe pit, biking trails, pay phone, dump station, walking trails, hot showers (no quarters!), and flush toilets. We sell wood, propane, and ice. Activities include bingo, ice cream socials, pot luck, pig roast, Christmas in July, craft hour, tubing, fishing, kayaking. Great golf, eating and shopping nearby. Directions:
From I-89 take Randolph Exit 4, go west on Route 66 for 2.5 miles, then right onto Route 12A for 2.5 miles, campground on the left.


Reservation Information:
A 20% is required to hold your reservation. Deposits may be refunded two weeks prior to reservation without penalty. Deposits will not be refunded for cancellations within two weeks of the reservation.


Pet Policy:
Dogs and pets ust be kept on a leash, cleaned up after, and not left unattended at the campsite. Dogs are not permitted in the playground areas. There are two pet waste stations on the grounds (see map for locations).


Campground Rules:
# The speed limit in the camground is 10 MPH. The speed limit is a must with children playing and people walking.
# Please respect other people's camping sites. No crossing through campsites, unless you have permission. Parking should be within your campsites boundaries. The campsite boundaries are from post to post.
# Please be responsible when having a campfire. Do Not leave unattended and keep the fire manageable.
# Quiet time in the campground is from 10 PM to 8 AM.
# Please keep your campsite clean during your stay here. The Campsite is clean when you arrive, so please leave the site clean when you depart.
# Stay on the designated roads throughout the campground, Do not make shortcus across lawn areas.
# Lawn mowers are at the pavilion for your use. Please return after use to the pavilion.
# Office hours are from 7 AM to 10 PM. If you need help after hours, please see Marie at the camper located directly behind the office. The office phone is always on. In case of an emergency call 911 and then call the office.
# Check-in time is 10:00 AM and Check-out is 3:00 PM. Please see the office for arrivals and departures outsied of these times.
# Please read the pool rules. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. There is no lifeguard. Pool hours are 10:00am to 9:00pm. Later in the season the pool will close at 8:00pm.
# Bike helmets are stronly recommended for all children.
# Rough housing or poor behavior at the playgrounds will not be tolerated.
# Camping should be an enjoyable experience. If you are not happy with your stay here, we will refund your money for the time paid for and not used. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the campground if rules are not followed and if we feel you do not fit within our camping environment.
