Description: Lake Dunmore Kampersville is located 1-1/2 miles off Rt. 7 on beautiful Lake Dunmore, Rt. 53. 210 sites, 134 WES, 76 WE, cottage rentals, 2 pools (one heated), beach, rec. hall, boat rentals-paddleboats, canoes, kayaks & motorboats. Mini-golf, cable television, restaurant, planned recreation, tile restrooms, hot showers, laundry, store, ice, snack bar, arcade, deli, seasonal sites available, separate kiddies pool, playground, lake swimming, softball field, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, ping-pong, firewood, LP gas, dumping station, portable dumping service. Attractions are: Alpine Slide, hike the Long Trail, visit the Morgan Horse Farm, spend a day in the past at Shelburne Museum, fish the trout streams of Vermont, horseback riding, ride the ferry to Fort Ticonderoga, golf at various courses in the area. Visit Quechee Gorge, “Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon” and Wilson Castle—an architectural masterpiece, and many more. Reservations accepted.

Take I-91 North to Exit 6, S.R. 103 North to U.S. 7 North to S.R. 53, 2 miles to Kampersville.
From the East
Take I-89 through White River Jct., then Exit 1 and U.S. 4 West. U.S. 4 West to U.S. 7 North at Rutland. U.S. 7 North to S.R. 53, 2 miles to Kampersville.
From New York
Take I-87 North to U.S. 4 East at Glens Falls. U.S. 4 East to Rutland, then U.S. 7 North to S.R. 53, 2 miles to Kampersville.


Pet Policy:
If you plan on bringing your family pet, please present a vaccination record upon check in. Pets must be kept on leash at all times. Please do not leave pets unattended. Pets are not allowed in the store, the pool area, or on the beach. Pets must must be cleaned up after. Please make sure pets don't annoy other guests. Limit of 2 pets per site. Thank You!

Campground Rules:
This is a family campground and adults should be setting the example for the children in the park.
Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children. Vandalism or misconduct may result in the family being removed from the campground.
Quiet Hours. 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Be considerate of those around you! We do have a problem with children young and old congregating in area's in the campground after quiet time. Please make sure your child is on your site by 11:00 PM. Anyone under the age of 18 is to be at their site by 11:00 PM or be accompanied by an adult. No children are to be allowed to stay overnight in campers or tents without an adult or parent staying on the site.
No use of personal golf cart unless you have special permission from management.
Use designated roadways only. Do not walk or drive through other campsites.
All Kampersville buildings are smoke-free
Do not cut or damage any trees.
Only 2 vehicles per site. Boats are considered a vehicle.
Use of the pool is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Obey all pool rules as posted around pool area.
The beach, playground and the swing are closed at sunset for your child's safety.
Kampersville welcomes the use of bicycles & scooters in the park. NO electric scooters allowed in the park! Since so many bicycles & scooters are present during the season we ask that you be courteous & considerate of others. Also when riding a bicycle or scooter in the campground we ask that you please stay on the side of the road & do not ride in the center, due to traffic. We also ask that you do not pass any moving vehicles. Please wear your bicycle helmet. Obey 5 MPH speed limit. No riding double on bicycle. When the hay wagon is going around please no tailgating or holding on the hay wagon. If you must ride behind the hay wagon stay at least 20 feet behind it. Remember the driver can't see you. Plus bicycles & scooters must be on your site by sundown! This is for your own safety.
