Description: Thetford Hill State Park is located just off I-91, 1 mile south of Thetford Hill on the road to Union Village. A scenic view is available at the park entrance and the main attraction for most campers is the peace and quiet that the park is known for. The park consists of 177 acres and was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The campground includes 2 lean-to sites and 14 tent/trailer sites that are spacious and private. The award-winning cross-country trail developed in conjunction with Thetford Academy is ideal for hiking. Swimming is available at the Union Village Reservoir just down the road. Hot showers, dumping station. Area attractions include Quechee Gorge Village, Joseph Smith Birthplace Memorial, Billings Farm Museum, Sugarbush Cheese and Maple Farm, Simon Pearce Glass, Montshire Museum, and others. MC/VISA.
