Description: We are located on 65 acres in Boone County, Sugar Creek Township. The park was built in 1972 and opened in 1973 by John & Phyllis Barker. The land started out as farm ground. It was then purchased by a gravel mining company and mined for stone. This is how the 2 fishing ponds were created (gravel pits). It changed ownership in 1980 and again in 1998 when the current owners, Ralph & Sandy Christman, purchased it. They employ 10 people who take pride in maintaining the cleanliness and family atmosphere that you'll experience during your stay. For an extra added piece of mind the park is continuously being surveyed by in-park security making sure your stay is a safe and peaceful one.
Pet Policy: Pets must be kept on a leash and you must clean up after your pets.
Campground Rules: 1. Ground fires are permitted in designated areas.
2. Parents will be held responsible for their children anywhere in the park and especially when swimming.
3. Check-in time 2:15 PM unless arrangements are made with management in advance.
4. Checkout time 2:00 PM on day of departure or an extra day will be charged, unless specific arrangements are made with the management in advance.
5. No motor bikes or motorcycles are permitted in the park.
6. The owners and management of this park absolve themselves from any and all liability and /or responsibility pertaining to fire, theft, freezing, accidents, or loss of life, or limb by any cause whatsoever. Campers must carry their own protective insurance.
7. The management reserves the right to evict anyone who deliberately refuses to comply with all rules and regulations as herein provided, or whose conduct, manner or actions are uncomplimentary to the campground.
8. Alcohol permitted at your campsite only.
9. Children must be at their campsite by 10:00 PM QUIET HOURS START AT 11:00 PM.
10. Game room open from 8:00 AM till 8:00 PM Sunday / Thursday. Friday / Saturday 8:00 Am till 9:00 PM.
11. Mini Golf 1.00 dollar per person / per hour.
12. LP Gas Bottles filled 9:00 AM, 1PM,& 5 PM please come to office.
13. EMERGENCY MESSAGES WILL BE DELIVERED, all other will be posted at office.
14. SPEED LIMIT 10 MPH. STRICTLY ENFORCED.
15. Visitors: $3.00 gate fee per person per day, $5.00 per person for overnight visitor.
16. Trash must be placed in plastic bags and placed in dumpster.
17. Store Hours: Monday/Thursday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Friday & Saturday 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Sunday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
18. Laundry opens when store opens, and closes 1 hour before store closes.
19. No clotheslines permitted in the park.
20. Pets must be kept on a leash and you must clean up after your pets.
