Camping at Mariposa Ponds is a unique effort to combine quiet, quality family camping with learning about and enjoying the natural beauties of rural western New York. Allegany County and the surrounding areas offer exciting lakes, abundant wildlife, and gorgeous scenery. These provide endless possibilities for nature lovers, photographers, and vacationers. 75 sites for RVs and tents, most with full hookups, range from fully wooded to open and sunny. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Bath houses, picnic pavilion, and children's play areas are near to all sites. A map of the campground and trail system is available here. Mariposa also offers cabin camping and RV rentals, such as the "honeymoon cottage" pictured above. Our philosophy: Mariposa is a celebration of butterflies and quiet, quality family camping. Our commitment is to feature the beauty and solitude that is Mariposa without extraneous noise or distraction. Our "24-hour quiet hours" policy means that noise is not to leave your site.
