Description: Come and experience Nature at its Best! We are situated on beautiful Hunter Lake, high in the western Catskill Mountains (elevation 2300 ft). Secluded, relaxing and laid back, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Mother Nature or participate in one of the many outdoor sports available to you. We are located 2.5 hours from New York City and 1.5 hours from Binghamton via N.Y.S.H. Route 17 exit 98, then north on Cooley Road 2.5 miles, follow camp signs to camp entrance. Hunter Lake Campground caters to those who are looking for that old fashioned camping, but with all the comforts of modern amenities. All sites have water and electric (30 amps). RV and Seasonal sites have water, electric and sewer. Restrooms have free hot showers and flush toilets. A laundry room is also available for your convenience. Also located on-site is the Camp store/Office to meet your camping needs and Recreation Hall equipped with Ping-Pong tables, Pool table, Air Hockey, video games and other activities that may be scheduled. Outdoor activities include Fishing, Boating, Swimming in a spring fed lake, Horseshoes, Bocce Ball court, Basketball, Volleyball, Children's play area, Toddlers swings and Softball/Soccer fields.
