From Jct of Blue Ridge Parkway and NC 16, North 3.5 miles on Blue Ridge Parkway (between mileposts 257 and 258) to Raccoon Holler Road, West 0.15 miles. Open: April 15 - November 1. Recreation: Raccoon Holler Lake, bass fishing, tackle, shuffleboard, horseshoes, game room, playground, rec field. Wooded sites, elev 3200 ft. Paved roads. 184 gravel, 25 ft average site width, mostly shaded, 12 pull-thrus, AC ($), electric heat ($). Restrooms and showers, dump station, security, pay phone, laundry, limited groceries, ice, RV supplies, LP gas and Cable TV.
