Description: Insta Launch is located on the Big Manistee River, and the north end of Manistee Lake, with boating access to Lake Michigan.
These waters feature Chinook (King Salmon) and Steelhead fishing at its best! Along with excellent fishing for Coho, Brown Trout, and Lake Trout. And, good fishing for Small Mouth & Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, and Pan fish.
The Campground and Marina caters to families and fisherman wishing to enjoy some of the many recreational opportunities in the area, including fishing, boating, canoeing, swimming, golf, and sightseeing. We are just minutes from beautiful Lake Michigan Beaches and Lighthouses, and the Little River Band Casino.
Insta Launch offers camping facilities from primitive to full hook-up, including pull-through sites, boat slips for boats up to 24', clean and well equipped rental trailers, cabins, and rental boats. We also have a camp store offering a full line of fishing tackle, bait, groceries, camping supplies, fishing licenses, and hand dipped ice cream.
Directions: From the Intersection of U.S. 31 and M-55 proceed South on U.S. 31 2 blocks to Park Avenue and turn left, go to end and turn right into campground.
""SOUTH: Follow U.S. 31, thru Manistee to PARK AVENUE (just past Buick dealer) turn RIGHT on PARK AVENUE go to end, turn RIGHT into campground.
EAST: Take M-55 from Cadillac, follow to end (stop light - U.S. 31 intersection) turn LEFT, go 2 blocks, turn LEFT on PARK AVENUE go to end, turn RIGHT into campground.
NORTH: Take U.S. 31 South, past the M-55 intersection (stop light) go 2 more blocks, turn LEFT on PARK AVENUE go to end, turn RIGHT into campground."
Cancellation Policy: Reservations may be cancelled up to 8 days prior to scheduled arrival – deposit will be credited towards another reservation ($7 change fee will apply).
Reservations cancelled within 7 days of arrival will result in loss of deposit.
Reservation Information: Deposits are non-refundable
Reservations of 5 days or less require a 1-night deposit.
Reservations of 6 days or more require a 20% deposit
Changes to existing reservations will be charged a $7 change fee.
Pet Policy: 2 pets allowed $1/per day/per pet
Dogs must me kept on a leash at all times, cannot be left unattended at the campsite, barking controlled, and owners must clean up after their pet.
Campground Rules: 1.Five (5) mph Speed Limit in the Park.
2.Quiet after 11 p.m., all children must be on their lot.
3.Please keep music volume down so as not to disturb others.
4.No Fireworks permitted in campground - NONE
5.An adult must accompany all children when swimming.
NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY
6.All Pets must be kept on a leash, barking controlled, and may not be left unattended. Please clean up after your dog.
7.Dogs are not allowed on the swim beach – dogs may swim at the boat ramp.
8.Trash Pick-up Daily – please have all trash at your site post by Noon each day for pick-up.
9.Please – No garbage, plastic, cans, or glass in the fire pits.
10.Please do not feed the geese, ducks, or swans.
11.Fish cleaning only allowed at the fish cleaning station. Fish entrails must be placed in a SEALED plastic bag and placed in dumpster. Please clean up fish table.
12.Before you leave:
Cottages – wash dishes and place trash outside
Camp sites – Pick up all trash and place by post.
