Description: The Pottery Campgrounds are open 7 days a week and are located next to The Pottery and The Pottery Plant in Commerce, Georgia. We are just minutes from numerous shopping outlets and restaurants.
The Pottery Campgrounds are clean and comfortable. Conveniently located in the foothills of the Northeast Georgia Mountains as well as convenient to Athens, Atlanta, Helen, Cleveland, Toccoa, Dahlonega and South Carolina. We are also only one mile from the Atlanta Dragway and only 30 minutes from Road Atlanta, Lake Lanier and Lake Hartwell.
The Pottery Campgrounds has full hook-ups, grills and fireplaces located at each concrete campsite. All streets are paved and there is a flowing creek alongside the beautiful shaded lots.
For your convenience, there is a clean, modern bath house available to all campsites.
The pavilion at The Pottery Campgrounds is a great place to meet with family and friends or RV clubs. It features a large covered and lighted area with several picnic tables, and a large grill.
Security is provided to ensure protection for you and your family. |

Reservation Information: Reservations: To avoid confusion with reservations, please notify office before noon if staying another night or unable to leave by checkout time. Campers will be charged a fee for staying past 3:00 p.m. which is checkout time.
Reservation Requirements: Reservations are guaranteed with a $20.00 deposit. A cancellation notice of at least 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival is required for full refund of deposit. Under no circumstances will deposit be refunded if no notice of cancellation is given.
Pet Policy: 2. Pets:Pets must be kept on your own campsite. They must be kept on a leash at all times and are not permitted in any building. They should not disturb other campers and should not be left unattended. Owners must properly dispose of pet waste and will be responsible for any property damage or personal injury. Pets may be walked in campground; however, it is the owner's responsibility to clean up animal waste.
Campground Rules: 1.Children:Parents are fully responsible for the behavior and welfare of their children. Children must be supervised when using any
campground facility.
2. Visitors:It is the responsibility of each camper to register all their visitors. Any visitor remaining past 10:00 p.m. will be charged a fee. Please limit number of vehicles to no more than two per site. Visitors must check in at office upon entering. Unregistered visitors are not allowed in the campground after 10:00 p.m.
3. Campfires: Campfires are permitted in the barbecue grills only. To avoid accidents and flat tires, do not burn wood with nails or wires. Please do not attempt to move grills.
4. Vehicles:Only licensed drivers are permitted to operate a vehicle in the campground. Motorbikes are permitted only for transportation to and from the campground.
5. Firearms:No firearms, firecrackers, fireworks, or any other type of explosives are allowed on the campground property.
6. Alcohol: This is a family campground. Guests are expected to keep all alcoholic beverages at their campsite area. Those using containers should make sure these do not overflow before being emptied.
7.Car Washing:No washing of vehicles or RV's is allowed.
8.Sewer Hookup:Please use sewer seal! If more sewer connections are needed, the camper will be charged per the number of connections needed. One connection equals one camper as listed in the rate section at the bottom of the page.
9. Water Supply:Water supply will be cut off anytime the temperature reaches 33 degrees. If more water is needed, the camper will be charged per the number of connections needed. One connection equals one camper as listed in the rate section at the bottom of the page.
10. Electrical: Maximum of 30 AMP breakers per camper. If more power is needed, the camper will be charged per the number of connections needed. One connection equals one camper as listed in the rate section at the bottom of the page.
11. Tents: Tents are not allowed in the campsite.
