Description: Happy Acres Resort is a 140 site RV campground with two bedroom rental units for non-RVers. The property on which the campground is located has been in our family since the land grants,and you will be met by four generations at the park. This property was part of the hunting grounds for the Creek and Cherokee Nations originally. We named our working farm Happy Acres about 1960, because it was where we were the happiest. We converted it to an RV Resort in 1987. Our mission is to ensure each guest has the joy of true South Georgia hospitality. We are centrally located near historical sites, like Savannah, Brunswick, St.Simmons and Jeykll Islands, and Waycross. Whether you are looking for camping, hunting, or fishing, a place to spend the Winter, a place for a reunion, or just a relaxing vacation in rural South Georgia, Happy Acres is just right for you. It is the home base of Bear Branch Guided Hunting and Fishing Expeditions, and these expeditions provide some of the best hunting, and fishing available.
