Our camp sites are wide & grassy, and they're arranged nicely for family groups or simply relaxing on your own.
The campground is located between Wolfe Creek and the banks of the quiet and picturesque Muskegon River. We offer full services in camping and for the river, with a livery that includes tubes, canoes, & kayaks. Looking for a few days packed with excitement? Or would you rather have a couple of quiet nights to relax around the fire? River Country Campground can do either, or both!. Directions: From US-10 turn N. 1 block east of stoplight in Evart. Go 1-1/2 Mi. on River Street to 'Y' in road and stay to right, continue 2 Mi. to campground.
Cancellation Policy: If you should have to cancel a reservation, please notify us as soon as possible. When you call, it is important that you write down your cancellation confirmation number and the name of the person you are talking to. These are required if there is a dispute over your refund. We will give a 100% refund of your deposit if you cancel at least 14 days in advance of your reservation. If you cancel more than 7 days, but less than 14, we will refund 50% of your deposit. There will be NO REFUND of your deposit if you cancel less than 7 days in advance.
Reservation Information: Deposits are required within 14 days of making your reservation. (Those eligible for group discounts have 30 days). Deposits for each campsite are equal to one night’s rate.
Canoe and kayaks require $10.00 for each watercraft.
Tubes require a $1 deposit per tube.
Deposits are accepted in cash, by personal check or with the following credit cards (they will be charged immediately): Visa, MasterCard or Discover. If we do not receive a deposit within 14 days of your reservation your sites/watercraft will no longer be held in your name. They will be automatically cancelled.
