Description: "Welcome to Balsam Beach Resort! We the Mueller's (Clint, Patty, Grant & Cory) wish to invite you to our peaceful resort located on Lake Plantagenet. This is our 10 th year at the resort. We wish to invite you to our well maintained, peaceful resort. Our Resort was established in the 1940's and has grown to become what it is today. We are located four miles south west of Bemidji, Minnesota off of Hwy 71.
Lake Plantagenet is 2 miles wide and 3 miles long and depths reaching up to 65 ft. With over 2600 acres, the lake is filled with structures such as steep drop offs, sunken islands, weed beds and sand bar points. These sand bar points create some good habitats for walleye, northern pike, jumbo perch, large mouth bass, panfish and muskies that are at least fifty inches plus in length.
Lodge conveniences that we offer are: premium gas & Aqua view, bait, tackle, ice, firewood, gifts, movie rentals, laundry room, pizza, pop, snacks, groceries, depth finders. Child and pet care can be arranged. So, you can see that Balsam Beach Resort is your solution for all of your recreation and vacation needs. "

Directions:
3 Miles South of Bemidji on Hwy 71 South, 2 miles West on North Plantagenet Road. Turn South on 2nd tar road, 219th Avenue, 3/4 mile to resort.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations received at least 60 days prior to the start day of your reservation will allow you to "Credit" your deposit for up to one year for your next stay at Balsam Beach Resort. Cancellations received less than 60 days before start of reservation causes forfeiture of your deposit.

Pet Policy:
"All pets must have prior approval! (Not all pets will be approved!) Once your pet is approved you must follow these few simple rules. ( Read carefully )
* No shedding dogs of any kind will be allowed.
* No pets over 35 pounds will be allowed in our cabins.
* Pets must be house broken and more than one year old.
* Pets must have their own kennel ( and use it!).
* No wet dogs in our cabins.
* Pets must not be left in the cabin unattended.
* If your pet is a barker or a digger, Please leave it at home.
* You must keep pet leashed at all times while on the resort property. Please don't embarrass us or yourself by not picking up after your pet.
* Excessive barking or other guest complaints (pets must leave)
* Pets will be charged at the rate of $ 25.00 per day or $ 125.00 per week."
