Description: "Hickory Hills is located appoximately 7 miles from the junctions of I-35 and I-90 freeways. The major freeway crossroads of the midwest are quieted by the wooded 40-acre grounds, the marsh, waterfowl and the rural atmosphere. The owners have remodeled the fireplace lounge, gameroom and campstore into an open and friendly retreat or stopover. The limited food service, snacks, pop and ice cream treats and camping/RV supplies help assure a good time is had by all. Horseshoes, basketball, a playground with new equipment, a 40' x 84' inground pool, hiking trails, activity weekends, fire pits, a community fire pit, volleyball and plenty of adventure space help keep the family going until dusk. The lodge, lounge, camp store and gameroom are open until 10:00 p.m. on weekends. Pets are welcome, as are pooper scoopers. We currently have 30-amp and 50-amp electrical hookups and water. We have a dump station for your convenience, and tent camping is welcome with a variety of remote and not-so-remote sites. Our campers have fun, activities and pool time until dark. At 11:00 p.m., quiet time is enforced and we allow fun - just the quiet-time kind. We have a long-term, seasonal park for those that want to anchor and not go through the setups and teardowns over a weekend, and a park for those just passing through, or just coming out for a weekend or couple of days to spend in the pool and relax. Try us, you'll like it! We now have 28 all-new 120-foot long drive-thru sites with 30-amp electrical and water. Eight of these have 50-amp hookups. All sites are flat, grassy sites and come with firepits and picnic tables. Some have shade trees and all have plenty of room for any size rig. We have a total of 99 sites, 96 of which have utility hookups. Sixty-eight of our sites are seasonals. Modern, CLEAN restrooms with FREE showers and a helpful friendly staff help round out this vacation or stopover hideaway. We can handle groups of up to 28 sites with advance notice."
