Description: "While Joe’s Lodge started in 1924 as a fishing camp, it doesn’t end there! There is nothing to compare to the uniqueness of a northern Minnesota resort experience! At the resort, we offer sandy shoreline for swimming and other water activities, paddle boats, funbugs and kayak for your use. There is a small playground, tennis court with basketball hoops, horseshoes, a gameroom with video games, pool table, piano, and juke box, satellite tv and movies in the lodge for those rainy, kicking back days. Evenings around the campfire are always a hit. Our 40 acres include hiking trails that extend into the national forest land for the hiker amongst us, the birding group, and the nature lover. Arrange with us for a canoe trip down the river or a pontoon trip out onto Star Island, where you can enjoy Lake Windigo, a lake within a lake.
