Description: The Wilds Resort and Campground is a family resort located in northern Minnesota. Nestled between Smoky Hills state Forest and Tamarac Wildlife Refuge, on the edge of Shell Lake, our resort cabins are surrounded by 50 acres of tall pines and white birch. Family owned and operated, we are open year round, and our family invites you and your family to come and enjoy a Minnesota vacation with us.

Directions:
"From the Fargo area, take Highway 10 to Detroit Lakes and turn east on Highway 34 to Snellman. From Snellman, go north on Highway 39 approximately two miles. At The Wilds Resort sign, turn left onto a gravel road. The north woods surrounds you the last four miles to the resort and you just might see some deer along the way!
From the Minneapolis area, take Interstate 94 to Sauk Centre and then turn north on Highway 71 to Park Rapids. From Park Rapids drive west on Highway 34 to Snellman, turning north on Highway 39."
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations - Deposits will not be refunded. You are responsible for the full length of your confirmed reservation.
Reservation Information:
A deposit of $100 per bedroom is required to reserve each cabin. We will hold your reservation for SEVEN DAYS pending the arrival of your deposit. Group rentals of three or more cabins require one half of the total cabin rental in advance. Your cabin rental fee is due at the time of check in.
Pet Policy:
There will be a $75/week or $12/day fee for your pet. We accept them but ask that you pick up after your pet, before we hear from an angry guest with bare feet. No dogs allowed in the swimming area. We ask that you do not leave your pet alone. You will be asked to kennel a barking dog. No dogs allowed in the Lodge, and no dogs on the furniture or beds in the cabins. When cleaning the cabins if we find dogs have been on the furniture or beds, there will be an additional $100 cleaning fee applied to your credit card.
