Description: Proprietors Darro and Billie Cottle would like to welcome you to their old Kentucky home, where furnished cottages overlook beautiful Lake Cumberland near Burnside Island. Here you'll find no fancy stuff or flashing lights - just trees, grass, birds and quiet located right on a beautiful lake. Water skiing is at its best on this scenic body of water. Cumberland Cove is nestled on the South Fork of Lake Cumberland. Within just a few miles is an 18-hole golf course, a swimming pool, tennis courts, drive-in theater, cinemas, mall, shopping centers, antique dealers, crafts, flea markets, laudromats and excellent restaurants.
Directions: Travleing south on Interstate 75, take exit 62 at Mount Vernon west to Somerset, then turn south on Highway 27 to Burnside.
Traveling north on I-75, take exit 41 at London west to Somerset, then turn south on Highway 27 to Burnside.
From I-65, take the Cumberland Parkway east to Somerset, then turn south on Highway 27 to Burnside.
From Burnside, continue south on Highway 27 and past the entrance to General Burnside Island State Park 1.2 miles to Coomer Road. Turn right on Coomer Road. Cumberland Cove is approximately one-half mile off Highway 27
Campground Rules: A deposit of one (1) night is required to hold all reservations. The balance is due upon arrival. Sorry, no refunds on deposit or early departure. Three (3) nights is the minimum stay on holiday weekends. All other times, two (2) nights minimum Other policies and information:
$5.00 per day for each additional person over the base rate.
RATES INCLUDE 6% state tax and 3% tourist tax.
No charge for children under 10.
A deposit of one night is required for all reservations.
Reservations will automatically be cancelled after 7 days without receiving deposit.
Three nights minimum on Holiday weekends.
No refunds on deposits unless notice is received 3 weeks prior to arrival date.
No telephones are installed in cottages - payphone is nearby.
No loud music allowed, and quiet hour begins at 10:30 p.m. each night.
10% discount from April 1 ~ May 15 and from September 15 ~ November 1.
