Directions:
THE FORKS RESORT (from points South )
Exit 133 off I-95. Take Route 201 north, through Skowhegan and Bingham. Northern Outdoors Forks Resort Center is 18 miles north of Bingham on Route 201

THE PENOBSCOT OUTDOOR CENTER ( from All Points)
Exit 244 off I-95. Take Route 157 West, through Millinocket, then follow the signs to Baxter State Park. Northern Outdoors' base at The Penobscot Outdoor Center is 15 miles from Millinocket, 5 miles past The North Woods Trading Post.
TIP: Always keep an eye open for moose when driving to our Resort Centers. Great to have a camera in the car!
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations & Transfers
$25 of the initial $50 per person deposit is non-refundable or assignable, under any circumstances. We regret we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies. If some-one in your party cancels after the initial deposit has been paid, but before the full amount is due, all moneys except the $25 deposit will be applied to the remainder of the balance. If cancellation occurs within 30 days prior to the trip date, all moneys will be forfeited.
We strongly recommend that you purchase our cancellation insurance, should you have to cancel your trip due to an emergency.
Your confirmed reservation may be transferred to another date if we receive notification at least 30 days prior to the trip date and have space available

No transfers can be made within 30 days of the trip.
Pet Policy:
# Northern Outdoors, Northern Outdoors Lakeside Resort, and the Penobscot Outdoor Center accepts pets in all of its indoor accommodations (free standing cabins) EXCEPT the lodge rooms, logdominiums, cabin tents, and campgrounds.
# $25 per night (plus lodging tax) charge per pet.
# $100 extra cleaning charge will be levied against the credit card left as a security deposit if it is determined by Northern Outdoors or Penobscot Outdoor Center staff that the pets have been on the furniture, excessive animal hair found on the carpets, relieved themselves inside the accommodations, etc.
# Any additional damage and related costs will be charged against the credit card left as a security deposit.
# We expect that pets be crated inside the accommodations if left for more than an hour. No housekeeping make ups will occur UNLESS the pets are crated.
# All animals must be on a leash and UNDER CONTROL outside.
# No pets are allowed inside any of the public areas.
# Please pick up poop and dispose of it in outside trash cans (plastic bags provided).
# If the pet is disruptive to other guests (excessive barking, intimidating behavior) you will be asked to leave as soon as possible. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.
# Pet owners are personally liable for any and all injuries or damages caused by their pets and indemnifies Northern Outdoors, the Penobscot Outdoor Center, its staff, assigns and heirs from any liability caused by their pets while staying at Northern Outdoors, Northern Outdoors Lakeside Resort, or the Penobscot Outdoor Center.
# You will be required to sign this notice acknowledging that you have read and agree to Northern Outdoors Pet Policy upon arrival.
Campground Rules:
All of our adventures are subject to daily guest limits. We strongly recommend you call our reservation staff to make sure there are openings on the trip you wish to schedule. A tentative reservation can then be arranged over the phone.
