Description: Watoga State Park is located in the mountains of Pocahontas County just 14 miles south of Marlinton, West Virginia. The park consists of 10,100 acres filled with a multitude of recreational activities including hiking, swimming, horseback riding, fishing and boating. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Watoga State Park.

Directions:
Watoga can be reached from north of Hillsboro and south of Mill Point on US 219. A sign directs you to Watoga State Park. From this point, travel two miles on paved secondary road to the park entrance. An alternative route is to turn from WV 39 at Huntersville and travel nine miles to the north entrance of the park.

Pet Policy:
No pets are allowed in the cabins or cabin area

Campground Rules:
An additional 9% sales tax is added to the above rates
Cabins are rented from Monday to Monday for one to two week periods (second Monday in June to Labor Day)
Before and after the summer season there is a 2 night minimum for weekends and a 3 night minimum for holiday weekends
Reservations can be made up to one year in advance (from the first day of the month)
No tents are allowed in cabin area
Rates are subject to change
All major credit cards accepted
Must be 18 years of age or older to rent cabins
Week nights are Monday through Thursday and any Sunday which does not fall before a holiday Monday
Weekend nights are Friday and Saturday and any Sunday which falls before a holiday Monday
