Description: Middle Creek Campground is located in the mountains of the Jefferson national Forest in beautiful Buchanan VA. Located 6.3 miles off I81 at exit 168. The campground has a swimming pool, 2 fish ponds, game room, snack bar, Lp refill station, playground, horseshoes, and basketball. We have a dump station or on-site pump outs. There are level shady sites with 50 amps, 7 easy in easy out pull thrus with 30 amps, and a selection of other sites. We offer group sites for campers or primitive. Within 3 miles you can fish or float the James River or Jennings Creek, hike the Appalachian Trail or other nearby trails. Nearby attractions include Natural Bridge, The Safari Park (a drive thru zoo), historic Roanoke to the south or Lexington to the north. The town of Buchanan offers antique shops, movies, dining, and seasonal events like the Firemans Carnival and Civil War re-enactments. There are several wineries within driving distance. Stop by the store tell us your interests and we can help you locate points of interest.

Directions:
From I-81 exit on Exit 168 - go east 5.3 miles turn left on Middle Creek Rd for approx 1 mile
From Blue Ridge Parkway - small rigs can navigate Powell's Gap Rd to Jennings Creek Rd to a right on Middle Creek Large RVs will need to exit on Rt 43 take a left on Main St (over the bridge)- take a right on Arcadia Rd go approx 5.3 miles to a left on Middle Creek Rd

Cancellation requires 10 days notice prior to arrival
There is a $5.00 service fee on all cancellations

Reservations & FAQs
One camping unit per site & only 1 family (parents & minor children) per site.
No refunds due to weather, early check out or other circumstances
Check-in is 2pm for campsites and cabins. Check out is 12 noon
Reservations can be made with Visa or Mastercard. You will be charged one night’s deposit at the time of reservation. If cancellation is not within required time limit you will forfeit your deposit
Cabins require a minimum 2 night stay – 3 night minimum for campsites and cabins on holiday weekends
Pet Policy:
Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed, non-aggressive and you scoop after them!
