Description: This campground is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It is a military campground so one needs to have some sort of afflation. Security rates very high because it sits inside the base. I recall seeing the base police patrol even thought there was no need for them to do so. The site we had was very level and contained a concrete pad. The other sites appeared to be very level too. They all contained a concrete pad too. There was ample space between sites. The playground equipment was in good shape and fit the size of the campground. The bathhouse was in very good repair and was cleaned at least twice a day. The equipment was in good working order. The camp host was pleasant and they enforced the camp rules without being over bearing. The overall soundings were pleasant and peaceful. The campground contained plenty of trees and a good nature walk was right next door. Overall the entire base was laid out in a manner that helped one enjoy the campground.
