Description: Snug Harbor is a family-friendly park perfect for those in our midst who love to fish, water ski, swim, boat, canoe or PWC. (PWC stands for "personal watercraft" such as Jet Ski or Wave Runner). As we get many visitors with children of all ages, we have a good supply of "loan out" games such as volleyball, croquet, bocce' ball, badminton and horse shoes for family entertainment. We have a nice small-child play gyms at the front of the resort, and near the sandy beach. Bike riding is fine in the park, but we ask that no motorized bikes, cycles or scooters be used in the park to maintain our quiet, peaceful setting
Directions: Bridge rt: Hwy 84 (Jefferson Blvd) out of Sacramento to Courtland Rd to Ryer Island Bridge. Left along levee road to park. By ferry: Hwy 12 to Rio Vista. 2 mi N of Rio Vista is ferry (free ride!). Go to Ryer Island, go R 4.5 miles to Snug Harbor.
