Description: Yorktown Recreation is a clothing optional resort where you or your family and friends can 'get away' from it all. The privacy of Yorktown Recreation’s land with two large, clean, scenic ponds offers a special place to picnic, lie in the sun, swim, play on the sand beach, or take a short hike. An observant visitor might even glimpse deer, turkeys, and various songbirds. Hide from work for a day, or come for just a couple of hours to tan, cool off, and enjoy a private swim.
Rest and relax, heal your body and soul. The views are spectacular, and the environment is secluded and natural. It is the perfect place to bare a little or bare it all, while feeling like you are in your own backyard. Yorktown Recreation is close to home, and is the best hideaway to enjoy the great central Maine summers.

On Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) there is a minimum of two nights booking for rental units. No exceptions. You will be charged for 2 nights if you book for two nights and only stay one night.
Sales Tax: A 7% MAINE LODGING TAX is applicable on all lodging rentals

Directions: We are located off US Route 202 between China and Albion. Find Bessie Ridge Road. It is a Right coming from the South (from China). It is a Left coming from the North (from Albion). Go to the end of Bessie Ridge Rd., make a Right turn onto Libby Hill Road. Our farm is on the left, after the second barn, at the corner of Yorktown Road and Libby Hill Road.
From Route 3:
Take Route 202 to China. At the end of China Lake turn right onto Pleasant View Ridge Road. Follow to Dutton Road, when you get to the top of the hill, turn right onto Yorktown Road and proceed 1/2 mile to Yorktown Recreation.
From Waterville:
Take Route 137 to China, turn left onto Pleasant View Ridge Road. Follow to Dutton Road, when you get to the top of the hill, turn right onto Yorktown Road and proceed 1/2 mile to Yorktown Recreation.
From Unity:
Go West on Route 202 to Albion, take a left onto Hussey Road. Turn right onto Libbey Hill Road, at the top of the hill turn left onto Yorktown Road. Proceed 1/2 mile to Yorktown Recreation on the left.
From Albion:
Go West on Route 202 and take a left onto Bessie Ridge Road. At the stop sign turn right. You will see Yorktown Road shortly on your left. Turn left onto Yorktown Road, continue on Yorktown Road for 1/2 mile and turn left into Yorktown Recreation.
Cancellation Policy: Those reserving lodging by check, cash, or money order will forfeit the deposit if they fail to cancel within 48 hours.
Reservation Information: A reservation deposit of $50 is required ($100 for Holiday weekend reservations). You may make your reservation by credit card or by cash, check, or money order.
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy at Yorktown Recreation. If you are unable to keep your reservation you must notify us at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date or your credit card will be billed for one night's stay
Campground Rules: 1) All drugs are prohibited.
2) Campfires only allowed in fire rings.
3) Speed limit is 10 mph on all roads.
4) Cameras and video cameras are restricted by the following rules:
a) Written permission must be obtained from management before any pictures are taken.
b) Permission for taking pictures will only be granted if specifically requested.
c) Cameras and video cameras must be in their cases and out of sight.
d) No photography of anyone nude or otherwise without their express written permission.
e) Picture taking without express permission from management and the people you are photographing will result in confiscation of the film and you will be asked to leave.
5) All guests of members including family must register at the office and pay fees if applicable.
6) No littering! All cigarette butts must be placed in proper waste facilities.
7) There is no lifeguard on duty! Swim at your own risk!
8) No glass bottles or glass of any kind permitted on the beach or in the water.
9) Any audio equipment must be used with headphones.
10) No running!
11) Absolutely no pushing or shoving at any time.
12) No throwing sand or rocks.
13) Always sit on your towel when nude especially when using picnic tables and chairs.
14) No motor vehicles or bicycles allowed on beaches or lawns, roads only.
15) Ticks may be present in grassy and wooded areas. Check yourself and your pets carefully.
16) Fireworks are illegal in Maine and prohibited in Yorktown Recreation LLC.
17) Although Yorktown Recreation is "Clothing Optional", full nudity is required in the pool and Hot Tub. This is for sanitary reasons and to insure that the water is crystal clear and filtering as it should
18) Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the Hot Tub. This is a State of Maine law, and we must abide by it. Please understand that we did not make this rule.
