Comments:
Last summer we decided to go camping with a group of friends, there were 6 in 3 tents. We had two campsites right on the pond/lake that they have there. It had been raining alot the week before so the campsite was pretty wet and some of the dirt had washed away. Other than that the site was real nice, it was fairly large, with a picnic table and a fire pit, and because we were right on the water, we had a nice little view. One problem with being that close to the water was that there was lots of bugs, but since it was Maine, I don't think it would have been different anywhere else.

We were about a 1 min walk to the closest bathroom and a 3-4 min walk to the closest showers. The bathrooms were kind of old and out of date, but they were working flush toliets. They could be cleaned a little more often if you asked me, once a day doesn't work with that many people. I don't know if this was common or not, but the toliet paper was damp and wet, and it was hard to use, not sure if some kids had some fun in their with water guns, or if that was a common issue. The Hot showers were free, but the water pressure wasn't that great, so if there were others taking showers, you had to suffer. Overall the bathrooms were OK, they weren't bad, but they were not great either, I would recommend upgrading their facilities, it would make the stay much better.

The campground had lots to do if you have a family, lots of activies all of the time, if you have a family this is definatly for you. They have arcades, mini-golf, hay rides, swimming and playgrounds. Highly recommended for kids.

The campground allows dogs, but I don't consider it totally pet friendly, there are lots of rules, that really restrict what you can do with your dog. Before you bring your dog, be sure to read all of the rules.

They did not have a swimming pool, but they do have a fairly nice pond/lake with a sandy beach, and a swim area. I didn't go swimming but I did rent a kayak and it was pretty nice to be out on the water like that. They have fishing if you bring your rod and reel. The pond/lake is nice, but I prefer to swim in swimming pools, so if you are like me, take notice.

Overall this campground is very nice, very family friendly with lots to do. If you are in the area you should try out this campground.
