Comments:
After reading the two earlier reviews (and unfortunately having been their neighbor during that stay - yes they where both together, {was "Ziggy" the one who constantly nagged her husband or was she the drinker?}), I felt it necessary to set the record straight.
First of all, this park is located in Southeast Texas. Bugs are a fact of life there after a storm or good rain event. If you want a bug-free envirionment, go to Arizona in the summer!

Second. The owners do a better than average job of keeping the place spotless and free of rowdy crowds. The previous reviewers did their share of leaving trash around and drinkuing to all hours, so the owners had a few words with them about this, hence the slamming reviews.
If you are interested in a clean, reasonably-priced place to stay where you can expect to be treated with respect and are expected to act like an adult, then this is the park for you. If you expect the Hilton with trees or think that you can make up park rules as you please, then by all means, find somewhere else to stay.
I have visited Oyster Creek RV Ranch several times in each of the last three years and am pleased when its time to return there.
