Comments:
"I have been associated with Winterset RV Resort for the past four years, first as a guest, then as an RVer and now a parkhome owner. My site backs up to the railroad tracks and the Tropicana train is an occasional friendly sight. It does not run all day nor late at night. I have never heard of Gail Adams as a park resident so do not understand her reasoning for nor her negative comments about the park. I do know that John and Vickie are hard-working resident managers along with their assistant workers and receive various awards yearly from residents and the Newby Mangement Corp for their efforts. The laundry and bathrooms are always clean. The clubhouse is also well maintained and the pool and shuffleboard/tennis courts are always kept up. Most of the residents are like family to all. I really enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the well-planned activities. The resident-appointed board holds a weekly coffee/donut meeting for all to keep up on the park news and new residents. During the winter season the residents volunteer to host many of the activities like fun shuffle, water exercise, cards, singles/couples line dancing lessons, computer Club, hymn sings, Bingo, meals and dances just to name a few things. There is even an in-house church service during the winter months. I also appreciate having the free wifi! Now that the park is hooked up to city water can't wait to get back down this year to enjoy it all. Come on down for a visit to paradise island and see for yourself!!"
