Short Summary
WOW!
Comments:
We found Ash Grove on the internet and decided to visit, as it was in the mountains and less than 3 hours from Atlanta. We were blown away! The tent sites are secluded--you walk less than 100 yards or so to get to your site, which is surrounded by mountain laurel (they were blooming when we were there), so you don't see your neighbors. The bathrooms (with hot showers and flush toilets) were cleaner than my bathroom at home (and the wife is a clean freak!). The owners were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. There are hiking trails at the campground, even a small waterfall. And best of all, there were virtually no bugs. Plenty of activities at the campground and the surrounding area (mountain biking is awesome), and the small town of Brevard. We can't wait to go back.
