Comments:
This campground had an entry gate that suggested the grounds were secure. Not...the gate was always open. When you sign in and obtain a site, do you expect to get that site when you return in the evening? Not...it's a free-for-all. There were campers in my assigned spot 3 out of 5 days we were there. Don't bother asking for help...the staff could care less. I was told to "pick a spot." Keep in mind, we came back to a pitch dark area with blinding rain, but I could just "pick any spot." Gee thanks. There are permanent trailer residents at this place, so the staff must cater to them and not to those just visiting. No such thing as customer service here! BTW...big surprise...the restrooms were awful, too. This place uses an online reservation service. No wonder since they charge you ahead of time knowing that you can't do anything about the bad service and bad facilities. Horrible place for families. Unsecure, unfriendly, unusable restrooms, unhelpful, unbelievably disappointing.
