Comments:
Park is somewhat clean. Alright, now to the good stuff. The manangement of the park could care less of your experience and more of lining their pockets with your money. We were assigned a site with a 20% grade in order to back on to the pad. After almost ripping off the jacks on my trailer we were able to park and set up camp. When I went to express concern with the site we were assigned, I was told by the female owner of the park "too bad". This is the same person with the customer service skills of a thirty year veterean of the WI DMV. You know what I am talking about. The person who cares less about you and your situation and is more concerned with the amount of precious time you are taking from her. The parks lacks significant activities for kids. Traditional parks will at least throw a couple of nickles at an event coordinator to organize a few events for children. Not this park. No no no. Your money goes straight to their bottom line. Showers and rest room facilities also could have used more attention throughout the day. On two occasions I was blessed with surprises when walking in to the washroom facilities. This park also allows rampant opportunities for undrage drinking. Campers are encouraged to give alcoholic shots in addition to candy during traditional trick or treat walks. I wonder if part of my ridiculous fee's went to purchase the mulitple liquor licenses required for the 40+ campers that were serving alcohol during trick or treating. Overall, Hidden Valley has seen the last of my money and I would encourage other campers to do the same. This park is not the value one would expect from a $50 per night facility.
