Short Summary
Great site for closeness of Seattle
Comments:
This campground is within 30 min of Seattle for those who want to be close enough to the action, yet escape to the quiet, peaceful foothills in the evening.

Lake Pleasant is actually two really big ponds, with 80% of the sites situated around these ponds. There is no swimming, nor any kind of boating (you wouldn't want to, its full of milfoil) but its scenic nonetheless with ducks aplenty.

The folks at LP are very nice and very helpful if you need help. They have a full facility including showers, Washing/drying facility for long term stays. I'd venture to guess about 50% camped there are long term campers.

The sites are narrow but accomodate a large variety in length.

As mentioned earlier, what makes this park nice is its very close to downtown Seattle. We spent our first nights there on Friday/Sat as we had a Lacrosse Tournament over the week-end.

Our full hook up site for a 27' Class C MH was $44.00/night and it included cable TV. Spendy, but you pay for close convenience of having an RV site within shouting distance of either the cascade mountains East (30 minutes), Canada North (1.5 hours)and Seattle West (30 minutes)
