| Short Summary |
Unique Campground |
Comments: Surprising and Delightful discovery in Rio Dell, CA near Eureka. This park is under new family ownership and has undergone many important cosmetic and infrastructure changes! First, it is comprised mostly short and long-term residents. Management is onsite. RV sites are gravel and fairly level and have full H/U with 30 amps (which is sufficient even for Big Rigs in this cool climate). Space between RV sites is adequate. Some pullthrus on the upper terrace. Staff will assist Big Rigs to park; all RV's nose out toward an unobstructed view of the river, beach area and fossil cliffs across the river. The views are lovely. There is no highway noise as this campground is far enough from US 101 to be serene. The bathroom/laundry is newly renovated and sparkles. Located near the quaint town of Rio Dell. Many things to do in the area ie Ferndale, the Lost Coast, the Redwoods, Kinetic Art Festival and much more!
