Short Summary
Comments:
The owners of Lake Ivanhoe falsely advertise the large, private sites in their campground. The sites are not large, some are in fact tiny and look like drive throughs. None of the sites are private. You are surrounded by other campers and sites everywhere. The quiet hour is very strict and strongly enforced. The owner will start his rounds at 10:30 sharp and will not leave you alone until you are asleep. He does not allow you to talk after quiet hour and will keep bugging you until its pitch dark and quiet. My group and I had a horrible experience camping at Lake Ivanhoe and will never return. The owners ruined our 2 days weekend getaway and basically forced us to leave for no reason at all. He did not like that we were talking after the quiet hour. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Quiet hours are from 10:30pm until 8am. However at 6am it gets very noisy and the owners do not care about that. Also they over charge for the their small and crappy sites.
