Excellent campground
Comments:
This was an excellent campground. It is nestled in Northwest NJ and quite easy to get to. There are a lot of fun activities including water games, horse shoes etc. My husand and I rented a cabin for a 4 day weekend and we loved it. The staff was very friendly and gave us a couple of tips as to where to go to eat for breakfast. They are about 15 minutes away from the main strip where there are supermarkets etc. They have a very nice campstore. I bought a red hooded sweatshirt with the name of their campground and logo on it. It is VERY durable. It's on a huge section of land. If there is a negative, and this really isn't the campgrounds fault, is that the water supply has sulfur in it so it smells like rotten eggs. We bought bottled and a gallon of water to drink. The cabins are very nice with a peaceful of what I think is cedar inside (orange color wood). It has central heat and I am almost sure a fan. You don't need air conditioning and believe me I am the kind that loves airconditioning. We will be having our next trip April 30th to May 3rd. We plan on going again in the summer time as well. The trees are spectacular and very family oriented. They have 3 lakes for catch and release stocked fish. One of the lakes you can swim in. They do have a pool. I believe this is the best campground in Northern, NJ. I highly recommend this campground.
