Urban Campground
Comments:
A wonderful urban park! Level asphalt sites, many pullthrus, 50 amp electric available. Good spacing between sites. A great place to stay when visiting Denver. Nice quiet location with many park activities. The only minus is that Colorado "fees" you to death! There is a fee for everything! Be sure to checkout the reservation fee, the entry fee, the environmental surcharge fee, extra vehicle fee etc etc... As a result, there are often long lines backed up at the entry gate while fees are calculated, totalled, receipts & tags issued, information exchanged and loans are arranged. We would stay here again if staying in the area but would sooner seek other options in order to avoid the costs and delays associated with this park.
