Comments: We were disappointed with our visit to Whitetail Bluff Campground. There are very few trees, just campers crowded as close together as I have ever seen. The playground equipment was unsightly, with a giant pile of field refuse near the playground area. People visit this campground to drink, plain and simple. The pool is right next to the bar. Grown men sit there for hours mostly drinking BY the pool, sizing up the young girls. Sometimes they drink IN the pool with their beer. Children who aren't old enough to drive are endlessly racing around the campgrounds with golf carts. I really became concerned when I watched a young girl texting as she was driving her golf cart. At night, the adults are loud and the children are obnoxious and unsupervised. The teenage employees that work at the campground (children of the owners?) were just rude. The young man scolded the children late Saturday morning when he opened up the pool, telling them to pick up after themselves next time so HE wouldn't have to. Sorry dude, we watched you pick up mostly beer cans - that was the grown-ups. On the last day when I dropped off my cabin key, the teenage girl simply stared at me, took my key, and walked away. FYI - you aren't doing me ANY favors by letting me stay here. This place lacks respect, care, and atmosphere. We'll keep searching for a better place to stay in SW Wisconsin.
